Kristina Davis is a lifelong educator with over 35 years of experience in the Newburyport Public Schools. Kristina has held a wide range of educational roles, most recently serving as principal of the Francis T. Bresnahan Elementary School. Her career also includes positions as a classroom and special education teacher, Curriculum and Special Education Coordinator, and Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at both the school and district levels.

 

Kristina earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA—now Lesley University. Since her retirement in 2019, Kristina has continued to apply her skills and experience in new and meaningful ways. She has provided emergency response training to schools and agencies through the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA). She has been a Practicum Supervisor for graduate-level teacher candidates at Merrimack College. She has been an Associate Member of IECA since 2023 and is currently working towards achieving Professional Member status in 2026.

Kristina brings her deep knowledge of education and student development as the Client Experience Manager and Independent Education Consultant at Peak College Consulting.  When she is not working, she is enjoying her toddler grandson, hosting and attending gatherings with family and friends in New England and Atlanta, relishing the beaches of Maine, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and the Boston Celtics. As well as watching college football.  She loves to play board games, the challenge of a great puzzle, and touring schools throughout the country.
