PRINCIPAL, EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT
PEAK College Consulting was founded in 2014 by Rebekah Elmore. Before opening up PEAK, she worked in the business world for seven years, using leadership and managerial skills to run a multi-million dollar company of over 200 contracted employees. Prior to her experience in business she was home, busy raising her four children, two girls and two boys.
Before having her children Rebekah was a middle school teacher where she taught in Westfield, New Jersey. She received her BS in Education from Wheelock College (now part of Boston University) in Boston MA, not far from her hometown of Exeter, New Hampshire.
Using her business knowledge and her love for education and children, she opened PEAK when she realized there was a need for college consulting as she went through the process with her own children. Ultra organized, and passionate about finding the right college fit for each student, she knew she could use her personable touch and way with students, to become a successful Independent Educational Consultant.
Rebekah was trained at the Summer Training Institute at Swarthmore College which was taught by the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). She completed her certificate of Independent Educational Consultant, at University of California, Irvine in 2015. She proceeded to achieve her IECA Professional member status in 2016. Rebekah is also an active member of Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) as well as a Certified Highlands Consultant. Besides running an active business where she serves 100's of students, Rebekah also visits as many colleges as possible, learning about their admissions process and personality. She attends annual conferences and participates in ongoing professional development.
Mandi Elmore lives in Brentwood, NH with her husband and two teenage sons. Mandi has been a coach and trainer in the health and wellness world for over 25 years working with hundreds of clients while helping her husband run his successful stone engraving business on the Seacoast.
Mandi has taken her one-on-one coaching experience, where she enhanced her organizational and research skills as a health coach, to work with students. While coaching, Mandi worked with many student athletes on their health and fitness, and is excited about working with high schoolers, in another capacity.
Prior to staying at home and running three successful small businesses, Mandi worked in financial planning, mobility services, recruiting and health and wellness nutritional sales. She attended the University of New Hampshire where she acquired her BS in Communication. In 2015 she graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City as a Certified Health Coach.
Joining Peak is a natural transition based on Mandi’s skills, experience and love of working with high school students.
Mandi is enrolled at the University of California at Irvine where she is obtaining her certificate as an independent educational consultant. She is also a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association where she attends conferences and lectures to further her education, along with visiting colleges and meeting with admissions staff, throughout the year.
